This picture was taken by Ellen Hatch in 1948.
She was standing on the railroad grade just south of the
present community hall, looking to the east.
To the left is the ball park backstop.
Straight behind the backstop is the LDS church.
Next is the Romanick store with their storage shed to the west.
The squared front building is the Brown's restaurant.
The Cherry Grove School is half hidden behind the Brown's Service station.
